Summer Holidays
Alas, they are now over...
But I reckon I had a wonderful time off! I feel like I didn't do much AT ALL (inc. homework... must sort that out within the next few hours.) But to be honest, I did:
go to Lincolnshire to see
go to Bristol with my boyfriend to the comic book shop
watched 'Inception' at the cinema
have two anime nights with my bezzie's Hannah and Katy
not give a fuck when my other friend bitched behind my back ;D
go on horse rides with my friend in the year below me, Danny
actually attend a party!
shopped til I dropped with various friends and mum
go to Purslow show to meet my old school friend Bryony
buy a sega megadrive!!
go on bike rides to all of these locations
have a whole new outlook on myself and my life
It doesn't feel like much but it definitely sounds it as I try to remember what I got up to In a way I'm going to miss it because I'm not so keen on college now...
College
Hmm. Not so good. Apart from not doing homework, which is a fault on my part, they have screwed with out timetable, put one of my lessons in a reduced hours pool so I have to do even MOAR work with LESS time. Go figure. Not a good formula. The majority of our lessons are 1.10-1.30 hours so lessons are longer. However they fail to see that the average attention span for a lesson is 45 minutes so they've wasted half of their time. Our lunch has been halved to half an hour, so how we're going to go to Tescos and back and eat seems to still be a mystery. I'm with a tutor who I've never met, doesn't teach any of my lessons and doesn't know me at all, when they're supposed to be a teacher of one of your lessons. They told me that I wouldn't need to reapply for EMA when I still had to and to fill out forms for an EMA agreement. They also failed to inform us what time our results were available for, and they are killing trees by giving us a timetable at the college and then sending us one in the post (same information but with no Sender name nor company name or any new news.) Oh, and we don't have a principle.
Sorry for the rant... but why didn't I go to Hereford? >_<
On a positive note, my new teacher for web design seems to be a very nice man. He is in the same boat as us though, confused and messed about with timetable wise, and he has to refamiliarise himself with the software we are to be using for our assingments. However, he is very willing to teach us during his lunch break and for us to eat in lessons (providing we bring a cloth... because keyboards are terribly bacterially infested!) I hope that I get a good grade with him. Having done three modules I have earned 54 marks which is a pass, but I have three more to do and the merit border is 12 marks away. I should be on for a distinction!
If you are good boys and girls and read this through... I am so sorry for the essay. You all deserve a medal. Thank you so much!
Over and out!!

Stuff that happened in recent days...
Photography exam
well! Despite being shit-scared and nearly crying all the time, I GOT THROUGH TWELVE HOURS OF WORK!! :yay: I will post the results very soon, but it's been so hectic that I haven't had much time for anything else really! Maybe i will spam you all in the summer when I'm bored :P
BIRTHDAY!!
When it's a photography exam... IT ALWAYS MEANS MY BIRTHDAY IS ON/SOON!! I had a lovely day (though it could have been better if it wasn't such a turbulent week with my photography exam and coursework deadline for English...... but oh well!) and it was nice overall in the end! I went for a lunch with two friends in my English class, met
Maybe it's not all bad...
Photography
i didn't hand in a bloody pile of human pulp in the end... actually it came out extremely well! the only thing to improve it would be to 'dodge and burn' the image as my lighting was uneven but my teacher Hannah Day said that was university level stuff... :P i will post up the three images of me later on but be warned: i modelled in it... and i'm naked.
not that you can see that. it's just a bra-less back with drawings on it :meow:
now we are working on the exam, and our theme is exploration and discovery. i will be photographing how we can explore a new world through the use of words in books. keep tuned!!
i had an awesome 4
Deviously violent.
if my photography coursework was a person, i would beat the shit out of it and then hand the body in to be marked. it might get me a better grade.

Anyone want me to polish their apple like?
Oh. My. God. How nerdy a situation have I gotten into... in just one lesson today!!
:bulletgreen: Our homework, which we had given in last Friday, was discussed. The task was to write an feature opinion article, similar to Bill Bryson's Hotel California, about an aspect of crime or a specific crime case. I chose to write about the Facebook Killer Peter Chapman, but chose the controversial side saying how the girl he murdered was also at fault. I thought I had done terribly for my first attempt, but gave it in anyway.
Neil then decided to point me out in the class saying 'Jeanne did the best homework of the week, a round of applause!'
