And I answered her with "A plume
Of feathers so pretty
Birds who with their beak they groom
That is beautiful to me."
My teacher asked me "What is delicious?"
And I answered her with "A plume
Of steam from a fresh fish
Caught and bought from our lagoon
That is a delicious dish."
My teacher asked me "What is sin?"
And I answered her with "A plume
Of oil thick and miles long
Sure to cause a certain doom
That is definitely wrong."
And I answered her with "A plume
